it wasn't fresh, it was expensive and the portions were small.
not to mention the diarrhea afterward.
you've been warned! -

We had such a great time at Sushi Mania! They have a cute little play area for the kids. Such a great place for moms with toddlers. Kids menu was good too and you get a toy with your kids meal. Sushi was very good and clean. They have good change tables and potties for toddlers in the bathrooms as well. Will definitely be returning. I only wish I knew about this place sooner! Thank you for having such a great place for families on the north shore.

A little bit more expensive and classier version of those well known korean run sushi places, sushi mania was a great destination in North Vancouver.
Came quite a while ago so the menu may have changed but we ordered a load of dishes including the red roll with chopped scallop inside and spicy tuna on top which was a little small but had a wonderful crunch with the spiciness. Also, the short ribs were a large amount that came with rice and miso soup, well charred and tasty. The mr sockeye roll with a california base topped with avocado and smoked salmon was very tasty and not loaded with rice or sauce. Finally, they specialize in ponzu seared nigiri sushi which is wrapped up like a flower so we got to try the hamachi and the toro. Both were a little bit over seared but very nice fish and again, perfect amount of sauce making it a delicious bite. Another thing to note is that their sushi rice is very well flavoured and although a little smaller in portion, definitely of higher quality.
Overall, a little far out in North Vancouver but definitely some delicious sushi! -

Our favourite place for sushi in north van. Staff is friendly, prices are reasonable, and sushi/sashimi is fresh. Spicy tuna oshi is a must try on the menu!!
